The Unknown

I'm useless and you know that, it's just a matter of fact. Going nowhere too fast, and I know it can't last. It's just the life that I wish I could live. Delving into the unknown.
And I won't go down so easy
Just let me take my time
Oh I know, I'm no fool
Just let me take my time
I'll never settle for less, even if it's all I need. I wanna get to the scene, and make a mess of it all. I don't care if you don't remember, just as long as you say you know.
And I won't go down so easy
Just let me take my time
Oh I know, I'm no fool
Just let me take my time

I don't Know where I'm going, If I'll get there, If I really care. Just bang your head against the wall oh-oh I know it's okay, don't tell me what you think I've heard it twice and it's sick.
You Can't Tell Me
Don't Say I can't
You Can't Tell Me
Don't Say I can't
I wanna see the backsides and all the scabs about. Don't act like you don't know what's there, what's there? And festering faster everyday. Feels like you're losing your way but it's already over. Woah-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh.
You Can't Tell Me
Don't Say I can't
You Can't Tell Me
Don't Say I can't

I think I finally feel safe now. So good you make me sick, and I need you like a hole in my head, but I know I just can't resist. You got me fallin', rollin' over myself again and I think I'm starting to like it, yeah.
And I feel like I'm fading away now.
And I feel like I'm fading away.
And I feel like I'm fading away now.
Hold hands, we dissolve in the breeze, and I know you're just a tease. So don't feed me all that false hope, I got over it all so long ago. I know you're gonna go, and I know you're gonna lie so just stay here for the night if you can, if you please.
And I feel like I'm fading away now.
And I feel like I'm fading away.
And I feel like I'm fading away now.

I know things aren't going right, talk it down all you want but I can't live this lie anymore, i've gotta go and leave this fraud. There's nothing keeping me hangin' around and nothing I wanna hold on to. It's over twice and broken, and we're waiting on the end.
Chorus:
And I know just how it seems, as heartless as I can be. Just a product of the century, gonna burn out. Gonna burn out.
You know you're just as much of a killer, you don't have to lie. It's just part of livin' in the oblivion that it is. There's nothin' new under the sun and you just thought you were the only one. And now you say it's over, as if you were the first.

It doesn't look like she's coming back. There's a note on the dresser and a sign on the door that says I should have moved out last week. Oh well, it seems that life, it goes on whether or not I care. So I might as well play my part, just another character in the background.
Chorus:
And all the new places and the new noise,
It just reminds you you're never alone.
Monochromatic strangers pass by in all directions, and I want to know their stories, and if they're anything like me. Do they hate everything they see? but love it all so unconditionally.
Chorus:
And all the new places and the new noise,
It just reminds you you're never alone
I guess I'm just looking for, an excuse to keep being angry but there's just not much to complain about.
